double digits!
this past thursday our wafty-bay turned ten. to celebrate she had all the pasta she could eat and a princess torte (which she learned about on the great british baking show and has been dying to try ever since).
the marzipan was a definite win.
afton's imagination continues to burst at the seams. an artist through and through, she moves from one crafting or drawing or building or writing or creating project to the next. her current favorite possession is her army of neko dangos, and she has recently discovered a love for all things kawaii and an interest in japan.
afton has taken a lot of good risks this year; she slam dunked most of them and learned from the rest. i so love watching her heart and her sparkle grow.
ten-year-old life stage motto: there's nothing that can't be made better by a little word art.
