in an effort to avoid some boring chores this week, i decided to get my craft on and made some festive turkey appliqué shirts ala the cottage home for my girls and their cousins who will all be feasting together this thanksgiving.
it was mostly an easy-going project, except i haven't hated something in a long time as much as i hated top stitching around each. and. every. one. of those turkey feather corners. i still can't look at them very closely without choking back some rage.
(you'll have to forgive the photography here. getting these energizer babes to pose on purpose for photos is nigh impossible.)
