first recital

summer recently made her public piano-playing debut at her music school's christmas recital.

she played a version of "listen for bells" and did beautifully.

bryan and i decided to take the whole family (!) to her performance and as a result, do not have many great shots of the event, including the most traditional and prized of all recital photographs: the pianist standing proudly next to her instrument.
