fourteenth year

 

on saturday, our biggest little turned fourteen years old. summer is kind and responsible. smart and thoughtful and resilient. she is a safe space for her friends and fiercely devoted. she believes the best in people and wants everyone to succeed. 

constantly thinking of others, summer has been breaking her treats in half to share since she's been able to walk. summer loves to be comfortable and snuggly and cozy. she loves warm things and soft things and loud music. she knows all the words to all the songs and loves to read while listening to music. 

she's a prolific writer and a ravenous reader, but it's math and science that have her heart. she is one of three girls on the middle school robotics team and has her eye set on studying computer science in the future.
